![Memories: [Sept 2016 - Pienza, Italy] - I finally got to witness the famous Gioco di Cacio al Fuso in Pienza, Tuscany. A traditional game where four teams, dressed in medieval garb, compete using Pienza’s famous pecorino cheese. Contestants kneel on the floor and roll their wheel of pecorino to bring it as close as possible to an upright spindle. If you’re in Tuscany the first week of September, make the effort to visit the quaint and beautiful town, located south of Siena in the postcard picturesque area of Val d’Orcia. ✈️ I miss travel.
