Which Type of Writer Are You?

I recently read that there are two types of writers:

1.) One stays in and researches what others have done to piece together a characters experience.

2.) The other goes out to experience life and what their characters would (or could) experience, then write about it.

I assume writers can be a little bit of both; I know I am. And because of that, we sometimes put ourselves in situations that can be somewhat unexpected. πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜¬πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

Whatever the case, I find researching can be an interesting way to open oneself up to new adventures or just really living.πŸ•΅πŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸ“
