UPDATED [April 2023] — Many readers may know I’ve been working on my third book, and that it has been a slow process. Much slower than I had anticipated, in fact. Although I have been writing, I’m still in research mode.
You see, I’ve come to realize that not traveling has hindered my inspiration. Like many of you, the pandemic has prevented me from travel, and I’m not eager to fly overseas just yet. I’m still waiting it out, to make sure that when I get there, the destination is fully opened and that I would be able to freely explore. My writing is ignited by the fire that is kindled by exploration and travel, by people and culture, and by food and drink.
While I think about my first (since pandemic) trip to Europe, I have been researching diligently preparing itineraries and potential spots for my characters to be. At the same time, I’ve been exploring plot ideas that work well with my characters.
Speaking of characters, I have established a few of them. And yes, this new story will include a character familiar to those who have read my recent book A MISTAKE INCOMPLETE. Yes, you’ve guessed it: I can safely say that I am writing a sequel.
I want to do more with my character Stef. And where is he now? I’m taking him to southern Italy: Naples and such. Well, that’s all I want to share with you now. And I apologize for all the teases. But please be patient. I promise you will have a new Stef adventure.
But, it’s not a sequel like I led you to believe… sorry.
Your friendly and magnificent indie-author,
Lorenzo
