So, my story has been completed for almost a year now, but I’m not ready to share this project with any potential agents out there… not yet. I’m going back to the story, adding more details to help explain events or situations with more background; which, in turn, would help the reader understand events to happen later in the story.
I find that while I’m in there, rearranging the order of some events seems to help make this understanding better. And, by default, I’m rewriting certain comedic ‘scenes’ in a new way – with a bigger perspective.
I’m halfway through and hope to complete this new version of my books soon… which, hopefully, means I should be ready to start approaching the agents. Eek!
I’m getting there… but will it ever be ready?
