This season, I am suggesting books that focus on self reflection. Sometimes reading a good story in which a character is experiencing moments of analyzing his/her own life helps us to do the same. We all tend to find ourselves in moments of wonder, and reading about how others cope or experience helps.
![]() | How Not To Die Alone Richard Roper I give props to the writer for the title. Immediately, it makes you wonder if this was a guide not to being alone. The story sparks some moments of self reflection through its quirky character and mishaps. Very enjoyable. Fiction ISBN: 978-0525539889 |
![]() | Crime & Punishment Fyodor Dostoyevsky A classic that one must be prepared to invest a lot of time into reading. But, let me tell you it was well worth it. Follow this man as drives himself practically insane with guilt. Fiction / Classic Literature ISBN: 978-0143107637 |
![]() | Emma Jane Austen The story is quirky and comical. But follow Emma closely as her perfect lovable life gets slaps of reality forcing her to understand herself. Fiction / Classic Literature ISBN: 978-0143107712 |
